The officer and the driver of the second car were transported to the hospital with minor injuries

Los Angeles, Calif. – An LAPD officer was injured after colliding with a car early Monday morning in downtown Loa Angeles.
The accident happened around 3:30 a.m. at the intersection of 9th and Flower streets, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The officer is reported to have collided with a second driver in unclear circumstances. Police say the driver of the second car initially refused to exit the vehicle after the collision.
The officer and the driver of the second car were transported to the hospital with minor injuries.
More details about the accident were not released.
