The fatal accident occurred near the intersection of 51st Avenue and Wescott Drive on May 18.
Phoenix, AZ – A 60-year-old male cyclist, identified as Larry Schnepp, was killed in a bicycle versus vehicle collision in Glendale Sunday morning, according to the Phoenix Police Department.
The fatal accident occurred near the intersection of 51st Avenue and Wescott Drive on May 18.
According to the police, investigators believe Schnepp was either riding or pushing his bicycle and crossing the street when he was struck by the vehicle.
Responding crews transported Schnepp to the Hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.
The driver of the vehicle that struck the bicyclist remained at the scene.
The incident remains under investigation.
