1 Hospitalized After Lathrop Accident on Interstate 5 near Manthey Road
Lathrop, California (October 9, 2021) – One person was hurt following a four-vehicle collision in Lathrop Thursday night, the California Highway Patrol said.
The crash took place on Interstate 5 near Manthey Road at approximately 9:14 p.m.
As per the CHP report, a large truck collided with three other vehicles on the interstate's southbound side for undetermined reasons.
The crash resulted in minor to moderate injuries to one person, whose name was not released. The patient may have been transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Meanwhile, the southbound lanes of Interstate 5 were closed as authorities investigated and cleared the site.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
