At Least 1 Seriously Injured in Lathrop Motorcycle Crash on 5 Freeway at Louise Avenue Off-Ramp
Lathrop, California (April 13, 2022) – At least one person sustained major injuries in a multi-vehicle accident that happened Wednesday evening in Lathrop, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The accident occurred at around 6:26 p.m. on northbound 5 Freeway at the Louise Avenue off-ramp.
A motorcycle, a blue Kia Optima, a Sienna van, a big rig, and a black Chevrolet SUV were involved in the collision. The vehicles were blocking the Nos. 1 and 2 lanes.
Emergency crews responded to the scene and assisted at least one person who sustained major injuries.
Investigators did not immediately determine the cause of the accident.
