13-Year-Old LauReal Mata Critically Injured in Sacramento Car Crash at Calvine Road and Power Inn Road
Sacramento County, California (December 16, 2021) – 13-year-old LauReal Mata was hospitalized in critical condition following a multi-vehicle crash in Sacramento on Saturday.
The deadly accident occurred on December 11, at the intersection of Calvine Road and Power Inn Road.
According to the authorities, three vehicles collided at the intersection for undetermined reasons.
Sonia Mata and her two sons, LauReal Mata and 8-year-old LaBraun Brown, were transported to a hospital, where Brown succumbed to his injuries on Tuesday, December 14.
Three other people sustained life-threatening injuries in the crash.
A GoFundMe account has been created to help cover funeral costs and ongoing medical expenses for Sonia and LauReal Mata.
The crash remains under investigation.
