Lavonne Mullin Hurt in Two-Vehicle Accident on Highway 49 near Old Downieville Highway in Nevada City
Nevada City, California (July 20, 2022) – Lavonne Mullin, 67, of Nevada City, was injured in a two-vehicle accident involving a DUI driver that happened Tuesday morning in Nevada City, as per a local news source.
40-year-old Cole Paulson of Nevada City was arrested following the accident.
According to the California Highway Patrol, Mullin was driving her pickup truck when she collided with a car driven by Paulson. The pickup truck overturned in the crash.
Mullin sustained minor to moderate injuries, and Paulson sustained minor injuries.
Investigators said Paulson was at fault and was driving under the influence. He was arrested on a felony DUI charge for causing bodily harm.
Officer said they did not believe speed was a contributing factor.
