1 Hurt in Lebec Accident on Interstate 5 Freeway near Lebec Curve
Lebec, California (December 9, 2021) – One person was hurt following a multi-vehicle crash Thursday afternoon in Lebec, according to a report by the California Highway Patrol.
At about 12:25 p.m., on December 9, the CHP received a crash report involving five vehicles on the Interstate 5 Freeway, just south of the Lebec Curve.
The circumstances that led to the collision in northbound lanes of the I-5 Freeway were not immediately available.

All involved parties, including one unidentified person who was hurt in the crash, were attended to by the Kern County Lebec Fire Department who arrived at the scene shortly after the accident.
Authorities requested tow trucks to remove at least two wrecked automobiles away from the crash site.
After the CHP completes the investigation, more information about this crash will be released.
