Leslie Harriman Killed in Tempe Accident on Loop 202 near Scottsdale Road

Tempe, AZ – The driver who was killed in a traffic collision in Tempe on Thursday night has been identified as Leslie Harriman, 61, of Phoenix, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
The collision took place on Loop 202 near Scottsdale Road at about 11:31 p.m. May 9.
The report said that a Valley Metro bus was stalled in the westbound HOV lane of Loop 202 when it was struck by a Ford Ranger pickup truck driven by Harriman.
The crash caused Harriman to be trapped in his vehicle.
He was transported to a hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
The westbound side of Loop 202 was shut down as authorities investigated the incident.
The crash is under investigation.
