Leticia De Ordaz Killed in Nestor Crash on 5 Freeway near Coronado Avenue
San Diego, California (April 14, 2022) – Leticia Gutierrez De Ordaz, 64, of San Ysidro has been identified as the person killed in a car crash in San Diego's Nestor neighborhood Tuesday morning.
According to California Highway Patrol, the incident was reported at about 11 a.m. on Interstate 5 Freeway near Coronado Avenue.
According to the report, a 63-year-old man was driving a red Ford Ranger pickup truck north on I-5 when he veered across lanes and collided with a Volkswagen Jetta driven by a 24-year-old Chula Vista woman.
The Ford overturned following the impact of the crash.

Ordaz was a passenger in the Ford and was taken to UC San Diego Medical Center in Hillcrest, where she was pronounced deceased.
The operator of the Ford was taken to the hospital for treatment of major injuries.
