Liem Bui ID'd as 71-Year-Old Cyclist Killed in Fountain Valley Crash on Euclid Avenue near Heil Avenue
Fountain Valley, California (January 16, 2022) – Liem Bui, 71, has been identified as the cyclist who was killed in a Saturday morning traffic accident in Fountain Valley, authorities said.
The deadly accident occurred at about 5:39 a.m., on January 15, in the southbound lanes of Euclid Avenue just north of Heil Avenue.
According to the officials, Bui was struck by a vehicle, driven by Amanda Martin, 32, of Fountain Valley, on the roadway for undetermined reasons.

Sadly, Bui was pronounced dead at the scene.
Martin was arrested on suspicion of felony driving under the influence, felony hit-and-run, and vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated.
Further details regarding the collision were not immediately available.
