1 Airlifted after Lindsay Car Crash on Highway 65 near Avenue 200
Lindsay, California (March 30, 2022) – One person was airlifted to the hospital after an early Wednesday morning crash involving a semi in Lindsay, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The accident occurred at around 4:44 a.m. on southbound Highway 65, just north of Avenue 200.
The report said a car rear-ended a semi-truck for unknown reasons, possibly trapping one person.
Firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene and requested a helicopter to airlift one person who suffered severe injuries. A SkyLife air ambulance responded and transported the patient to an unknown hospital.
Authorities did not determine the cause of the crash, but an investigation is ongoing.
