At Least 1 Hurt in Livermore Collision on Interstate 580 near Airway Boulevard
Livermore, California (March 11, 2022) – The authorities are investigating an injury collision that occurred on Interstate 580 in Livermore on Thursday morning.
According to a local news source, a semi truck and a box truck were involved in the accident near Airway Boulevard at around 7:35 a.m. March 10.
The vehicles collided on the westbound side of I-580 under unclear circumstances.

One of the trucks caught fire while one of them spilled diesel fuel onto the ground.
At least one of the drivers was transported to a hospital with unspecified injuries.
All lanes of the freeway were shut down for the investigation.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
