1 Critically Injured in Lodi Crash at Elm Street and Lower Sacramento Road; Mason Russell Arrested

Lodi, California (December 8, 2021) – A driver was critically injured and another was arrested for DUI following a traffic accident in Lodi on Saturday night, according to the Lodi Police Department.
The two-car crash occurred at around 9:46 p.m. Saturday, December 4, at the intersection of Elm Street and Lower Sacramento Road.
Two vehicles collided at the Lodi intersection, police said. Both vehicles sustained major damage due to the impact.
Mason Russell Arrested in Lodi Collision That Left 1 Critically Injured
One of the drivers was transported to Lodi Memorial Hospital and then transferred to another hospital, where they were listed in critical condition.
Authorities determined that the other driver was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the accident. The suspect, identified as Mason Russell, was eventually arrested and booked at San Joaquin County Jail on charges of felony DUI, causing bodily injury.
The crash remains under investigation.
