Minor Injuries Suffered in Lodi Car Accident on Highway 12 near Guard Road
Lodi, California (February 13, 2022) – Authorities are investigating a traffic collision involving a semi-truck that happened early Sunday morning in Lodi, resulting in minor injuries.
The California Highway Patrol said the incident happened at around 1:50 a.m. on westbound Highway 12, just west of Guard Road.
A big rig and a pickup truck were involved in the accident. The vehicles were completely blocking the eastbound lanes and partially blocking the westbound lanes.
One party was trapped inside one of the vehicles, and another was able to get out.
Emergency crews responded to the scene and helped at least one person who sustained minor injuries.
Officers are investigating the cause of the accident.
