Lois Randall Killed in Salem Scooter Crash at Liberty Street and River Road
Salem, OR – Lois Marie Randall, 70, was struck and killed by a vehicle while riding a motorized scooter in Salem on Wednesday morning, according to the Salem police.
The accident took place at Liberty Street and River Road at about 9:45 a.m.
Police said Randall was crossing Liberty Street from the east side to the west when she was hit by a southbound vehicle.
She was rushed to Salem Health, where she was later pronounced deceased.
The driver, Jami Lee Duhrkoop, 36, was unhurt and stayed at the scene.
The accident is under investigation.
