Los Alamos, CA. – The Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Office Coroner's Bureau identified the woman who died in a head-on collision last month near Los Alamos as Angela Marie Jacobo, 45, from Lompoc.
The wreck occurred around 4:34 p.m. June 13 on northbound Highway 101 near Alisos Canyon Road.
The California Highway Patrol said a vehicle was traveling southbound on the highway when it reportedly crossed into the northbound side and struck another car head-on.
Emergency personnel from the Santa Barbara County Fire Department responded and pronounced Jacobo dead at the scene.
Four other people, including an infant, were injured in the accident. Two sustained major injuries and the other two suffered moderate injuries.

Los Alamos, CA. – One person was killed and four others injured in a head-on crash on State Route 101 in Los Alamos Thursday afternoon.
The traffic collision happened at around 4:34 p.m. on the northbound Highway 101 near Alisos Canyon Road.
One vehicle reportedly crossed from the southbound side into northbound traffic and hit another vehicle head-on.
One person was killed in the wreck. Four other people were injured, 2 were listed with severe injuries, and two others with moderate injuries.
The identity of the deceased was not immediately disclosed.
