2 Injured in Lone Pine Crash on U.S. 395 near Lubken Canyon Road
Inyo County, California (January 30, 2022) – Two people were injured Saturday afternoon in a traffic collision in Lone Pine, according to a report by the California Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred just before 1:00 p.m. on January 29 on U.S. 395, just north of Lubken Canyon Road.
The CHP report states that an SUV collided with a gray BMW sedan on the southbound side of the highway near Diaz Lake.
Lone Pine Collision Injures Two
One person sustained major injuries while the second patient suffered unknown injuries. The names of the victims and their conditions were not immediately disclosed.
Authorities temporarily blocked the southbound lanes of U.S. Highway 395 near Lubken Canyon following the crash.
The crash remains under investigation.
