1 Possibly Ejected in Long Beach Car Crash on Interstate 405 near Orange Avenue
Long Beach, California (November 19, 2021) – At least one person was severely hurt in a two-vehicle collision that occurred early Thursday morning in Long Beach, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident transpired at about 1:06 a.m. on southbound Interstate 405, just south of Orange Avenue.
A party in a Toyota Prius called authorities reporting that they were involved in a collision with at least one other vehicle.
A female occupant of one of the cars was possibly ejected and was lying on the ground.
Long Beach Fire Department responded to the scene to help the motorists.
As per the firefighters, at least one person suffered severe injuries in the accident. An ambulance was dispatched to the scene to take the patient to the hospital.
Some lanes of the freeway were blocked following the accident.
CHP is investigating the cause of the wreck.
