1 Injured in Long Beach Crash on Highway 91 at Cherry Avenue Off-Ramp
Long Beach, California (May 20, 2022) – One person was trapped inside a pickup truck that overturned in a Long Beach crash Thursday afternoon on Highway 91.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident occurred just before 5 p.m. in the westbound lanes at the Cherry Avenue off-ramp.
A Chevrolet pickup truck collided with another car and overturned, partially trapping an occupant.
Firefighters responded to the scene to help the motorists.
Highway 91 at Paramount Boulevard was closed down as the party was freed from the vehicle.
The report said one person sustained minor injuries in the accident. It was not clear if the patient was hospitalized.
CHP is investigating to determine the cause of the collision.
