Lonnie Sullivan Killed in Head-On Collision on Nice-Lucerne Cutoff near Rodman Slough in Upper Lake
Lake County, California (September 25, 2021) – 64-year-old Lonnie Ray Sullivan has been identified as the Clearlake Oaks man who was killed in a head-on collision near Upper Lake in Lake County on Wednesday morning.
The deadly collision happened on the Nice-Lucerne Cutoff near the Rodman Slough at about 7:30 a.m. September 22.
The California Highway Patrol said Sullivan was driving a 1996 Honda Civic east on Nice-Lucerne Cutoff and collided head-on with a 2016 Chevy Camaro driven by Steven Michael Pruitt, 35, of Lakeport.

Sullivan was killed in the morning crash.
The police established that Pruitt had drifted across the centerline causing the crash. He was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs and vehicular manslaughter and was booked into the Lake County Jail.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
