Lori Hooper Killed in Placerville Accident on Highway 50 near Broadway Drive
Placerville, California (April 25, 2022) – Lori Hooper, 60, of Pollock Pines was killed in a collision involving a DUI driver in Placerville on Saturday evening, according to the Placerville Police Department.
The wreck happened on Highway 50 near Broadway Drive at about 6:45 p.m. on April 23.
Police said Hooper was a passenger on a motorcycle that collided with a Jeep driven by Aaron Folmsbee, 47, of Cameron Park.

Hooper was killed in the accident.
The person driving the motorcycle was taken to a hospital with critical injuries.
Folmsbee was arrested on charges of gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated and DUI causing great bodily injury.
He was booked into the El Dorado County Jail on a $175,000 bail and was later released.
The incident is under investigation.
