Minor Injuries Sustained in Los Angeles Car Crash on 5 Freeway at Riverside Drive Off-Ramp
Los Angeles, California (November 6, 2021) – Minor injuries were sustained in a Saturday morning head-on collision that happened on a freeway in Los Angeles, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The incident occurred at about 10:19 a.m. on southbound 5 Freeway at the Riverside Drive off-ramp.
A driver of a 2020 Ford F-450 truck called authorities reporting that a Honda Civic hit them head-on as they were exiting on Riverside Drive.
One of the vehicles acquired a broken axle in the crash.
Paramedics responded to the scene and evaluated the motorists for minor injuries. It was not clear if anyone was hospitalized.
The cause of the collision is under investigation.
