1 Seriously Injured in Los Angeles Crash on 10 Freeway near La Cienega
Los Angeles, California (October 7, 2021) – One person sustained serious injuries following a car crash that happened Wednesday night on a freeway in Los Angeles, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The major-injury collision happened at around 10:40 p.m. Wednesday, October 6, on the 10 Freeway, just south of La Cienega Boulevard.
Several vehicles, including a blue Honda Civic, collided on the eastbound side of the freeway, CHP said.
As a result of the crash, the Honda crashed into the center median.
1 Suffers Major Injuries in 10 Freeway Accident
First responders arrived at the scene and found one person suffering from major injuries following the crash. The patient was then transported to the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center for treatment. The identity of the victim and their condition were not immediately disclosed.
The eastbound lanes of the 10 Freeway near La Cienega were temporarily closed as the investigation and cleanup took place.
