Minor Injuries Sustained in Los Angeles Car Crash on 405 Freeway at Moraga Drive
Los Angeles, California (March 23, 2022) – Authorities are investigating a multi-vehicle collision involving a Los Angeles Fire Department Special Duty Fire Captain that happened Tuesday afternoon in Los Angeles.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the pileup took place at around 4:38 p.m. on northbound 405 Freeway at Moraga Drive.
Four vehicles of unknown description were involved in the accident.
Police officers, firefighters, and paramedics responded to the scene.
At least one person sustained minor injuries and complained of pain. The patient was offered medical aid by responding paramedics.
It was not clear if the Fire Captain was hurt.
A SigAlert was issued closing the HOV lane for about 30 minutes.
CHP is investigating the cause of the collision.
