The CHP said an on-duty officer was riding an LAPD motorcycle on the freeway when he got into a side-swipe crash with a blue GMC Sierra pickup
Canyon Country, CA – A Los Angeles Police Department motorcycle officer was injured in a collision in Canyon Country on Wednesday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash took place on the 14 Freeway at about 9:05 a.m.
The CHP said an on-duty officer was riding an LAPD motorcycle on the freeway when he got into a side-swipe crash with a blue GMC Sierra pickup.
The officer was taken to Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital with injuries believed to be minor.
No other injuries were reported.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
