Luciano Torres III Killed in Mojave Motorcycle Accident on Highway 14 and Highway 58

Mojave, California (September 20, 2022) – Authorities have identified 40-year-old Luciano Torres of California City as the rider killed in the Mojave motorcycle accident on Saturday morning, according to a local news source.
The accident occurred a while before 6:00 a.m. on September 17, on Highway 14 and Highway 58.
Per the article, Luciano was driving his motorbike on the highway when he was hit by a car for reasons yet to be determined.
Responding emergency crews declared the rider dead at the accident scene.
It was not immediately known if the car driver was hurt in the accident.
Authorities closed part of Highway 14 due to the crash.

Kern County, California (September 17, 2022) – One person was killed in a motorcycle accident that happened in California City on Saturday morning.
The deadly collision happened on Highway 14 near Highway 58 at around 5:57 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
A motorcycle was traveling on the roadway when it collided with a vehicle in unclear circumstances.
CHP says one person was killed in the accident.
The identity of the deceased person was not immediately disclosed.
