Luzviminda Moss ID'd as Pedestrian, Struck, Killed by Vehicle on Mira Mesa Boulevard and Aderman Avenue in San Diego

San Diego, California (September 20, 2021) – The San Diego County Medical Examiner's Office has identified the pedestrian who died after being struck by a vehicle Tuesday afternoon at an intersection in San Diego as Luzviminda Moss, 50.
The deadly crash took place at about 2:54 p.m. Tuesday, September 14, at the intersection of Mira Mesa Boulevard and Aderman Avenue.
Authorities said Moss was walking southbound across Mira Mesa Boulevard inside a marked crosswalk when she was hit by a Jeep Wrangler that was attempting to make a left turn from northbound Aderman Avenue onto Mira Mesa Boulevard.
Pedestrian Killed in San Diego Crash Identified
Moss was taken to Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla, where she later succumbed to her injuries.
Officials believed the involved Jeep motorist was not intoxicated at the collision time.
The San Diego Police Department is still investigating the accident.
