Rider Injured in Lynwood Motorcycle Crash on 105 Freeway near Long Beach Boulevard Off-Ramp
Lynwood, California (January 26, 2022) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a crash that occurred Wednesday morning in Lynwood, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The wreck was reported at about 8:19 a.m. on westbound 105 Freeway, just east of the Long Beach Boulevard off-ramp.
As per the report, a witness called authorities using the rider's phone, saying that a car was attempting to get out of the carpool lane but before that, the driver slowed down, and the motorcyclist crashed into the car.
Firefighters responded to the scene to find the rider with major injuries. The patient was hospitalized in unknown condition.
Authorities are investigating the accident.
