Madison Vasquez Seriously Hurt in Fresno County Collision on Manning Avenue near Selma
Fresno County, California (April 6, 2022) – Madison Vasquez, 17, was among the three Good Samaritans that were struck and injured by a vehicle at the scene of a solo-vehicle crash north of Selma last Monday.
According to a local news source, Vasquez, her boyfriend Adrian Chavez, and his parents were driving on Manning Avenue when they came upon the scene of a crashed truck.
The truck had slammed into an almond orchard in the area.
Vasquez and the other parties in the BMW stopped to check on the parties in the pickup.
Shortly after, as they went back to their BMW, a white Jeep lost control on the slippery roadway and crashed into them.

The three Good Samaritans were taken to a hospital for treatment.
Vasquez remains hospitalized at Community Regional Medical Center with critical injuries.
Other parties involved in the crash were treated and released.
The wet weather is believed to be a factor in the incident.
Authorities are investigating the crash.
