Injuries Reported in Fresno Car Crash at Jensen and Brawley Avenues
Fresno, California (September 20, 2022) – Major injuries were reported in a two-vehicle collision that impacted a power pole southwest of Fresno on Monday evening, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident took place at around 6:24 p.m. on September 19, on Jensen and Brawley avenues.
According to the report, one of the vehicles appeared to have broadsided the other SUV and pushed it into a power pole.
The impact snapped the power pole and it fell on the SUV.
Emergency crews were quickly sent to the scene to assist those involved in the incident.
There were reports of major injuries in the collision.
Authorities said the vehicles collided when it was raining in the area.
The intersection of Jensen and Brawley avenues was shut down as authorities worked to clear the scene.
