At Least 1 Seriously Injured in Ripon Crash on Highway 99 near Main Street
Ripon, California (September 20, 2022) – Major injuries were reported in an early Tuesday morning collision that took place in Ripon, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The wreck happened on Highway 99 near the Main Street off-ramp at around 5:50 a.m.
According to CHP, a gray Hyundai and a Honda were involved in the incident. The impact sent one of the vehicles off the roadway and into the center divider.
Emergency crews responded to the site of the accident and helped the parties involved.
There were reports of major injuries. The exact number of those hurt was not specified.
The CHP is conducting an investigation into the accident.
