At Least 1 Seriously Hurt in San Rafael Motorcycle Accident on Highway 101 near N San Pedro Road Off-Ramp
San Rafael, California (September 21, 2022) – At least one person sustained major injuries in a multi-vehicle collision that happened Wednesday morning in San Rafael, the California Highway Patrol said.
The accident took place at around 11:30 a.m. on northbound Highway 101, just north of the N San Pedro Road off-ramp.
Responders from San Rafael police and fire departments found a motorcycle and a white van blocking the No. 1 lane and a sedan on the right-hand shoulder.
At least one person suffered major injuries in the accident. The patient was hospitalized in unknown condition.
The report also said a separate three-vehicle accident with property damage only happened at the same scene around the same time.
The Nos. 1 and 2 lanes of northbound Highway 101 remained blocked during an investigation.
