At Least 1 Suffers Serious Injuries in Multi-Car Accident on 605 Freeway in Whittier
Whittier, California (September 11, 2022) – At least one person was seriously hurt in a multi-vehicle collision that happened Sunday afternoon in Whittier, the California Highway Patrol said.
The incident took place at about 4:14 p.m. on southbound 605 Freeway at Highway 60.
Three vehicles were involved in the accident, including one that was reportedly driving recklessly and possibly caused the collision.
At least one person who sustained major injuries was offered medical aid by responding emergency personnel.
Several traffic lanes remained blocked during an investigation.
