At Least 1 Injured in Santa Cruz Crash on State Route 17 near Pasatiempo Drive
Santa Cruz, California (March 7, 2022) – Major injuries were reported in a collision on State Route 17 near Pasatiempo Drive in Santa Cruz early Saturday morning, according to California Highway Patrol.
The incident was reported just after 1:35 a.m. March 5.
At least two vehicles were involved in the crash on the southbound side of SR 17.

One of the cars rolled onto its side while the second crashed into a tree.
At least one person was transported to a trauma center with major injuries.
Details on other involved parties were not immediately available.
The CHP is investigating the cause of the accident.
