At Least Seriously Injured in 80 Freeway Crash in Davis
Davis, California (May 11, 2022) – At least one person was severely hurt in a rollover crash that happened Tuesday night in Davis, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The accident occurred at about 8:40 p.m. on westbound 80 Freeway, just east of the Chiles Road off-ramp.
The crash involved a pickup truck and a Mercedes sedan. The pickup overturned on its side after the crash.
A party reporting the accident said the pickup was traveling at speeds of over 100 mph before the accident.
Emergency crews responded to the scene and helped at least one person who suffered serious injuries.
Both vehicles were towed away from the scene.
CHP is investigating the wreck.
