Concord, Calif. -Authorities are investigating a serious injury multi-vehicle collision on Highway 4 in Concord Tuesday morning.
The California Highway Patrol responded to the wreck at around 4:48 a.m. on the westbound Highway 4 just east of Willow Pass Road.
Four vehicles, including a Toyota COA and an Honda Accord were involved in the wreck. The events leading up to the accident were not immediately established.
The impact caused damages to the vehicles involved.
At least one person was severely hurt in the accident.
Tow trucks were requested for the scene.
