A pedestrian was crossing southbound Highway 143 near East Sky Harbor Boulevard when for unknown reasons they were hit by a vehicle
Phoenix, Ariz. – Authorities are investigating a serious injury pedestrian accident on State Route 143 in Phoenix Thursday morning.
The police said the collision happened at around 9:30 a.m. on the southbound Highway 143 near East Sky Harbor Boulevard.
A pedestrian was crossing the highway when for unknown reasons they were hit by a vehicle.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Their identity was withheld pending notification of the next of kin.
The driver involved stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.
More details about the mishap was not provided.
An investigation is ongoing.
