One person was seriously injured in a collision on the southbound 680 Freeway near Jacklin Road in San Jose

San Jose, Calif. – One person was hospitalized with serious injuries following a two-car accident on Wednesday evening in San Jose.
The accident was reported around 8:58 p.m. on the southbound 680 Freeway near Jacklin Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Two vehicles were recovered at the accident scene. The circumstances surrounding the collision, however, were yet to be determined.
One person was seriously injured in the accident and was taken to the hospital for treatment.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
