Weaverville, Calif. – At least one person was seriously injured in a two-vehicle collision on Highway 299 in Weaverville Thursday afternoon.
The California Highway Patrol responded to the wreck at around 1:42 p.m. on State Route 299 at Oregon Street.
A silver Kia Sportage and a Campora were involved in the crash. The events leading up to the collision were not immediately established.
The impact of the collision caused major left-side damage to the Kia.
At least one person sustained major injuries in the collision.
