Maricopa County, Ariz. – Authorities are investigating a serious injury wrong-way collision on State Route 85 in Maricopa County Friday afternoon.
The police responded to the wreck at around 2:38 p.m. on the northbound Highway 85 west of Haven Road.
Investigators said two vehicles collided head-on after one of the cars travelled wrong-way on the Highway in unclear circumstances.
One person was severely injured in the wreck.
More details about the wreck were not immediately provided.
