North Hollywood, CA – A bicyclist was killed Monday night in a hit-and-run accident in North Hollywood, according to the police.
The deadly accident was reported around 10:56 p.m. on July 21 on Lankershim Boulevard south of Arminta Street.
Police said a silver older-model Dodge Ram pickup was traveling southbound when it struck a 52-year-old man who was riding a bicycle.
The man was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. His name has not been released.
The Dodge fled the scene after the accident, heading southbound.
The LAPD's Valley Traffic Bureau is investigating the accident.
