Yorba Linda, CA. – A male pedestrian was killed in a crash early Monday morning on Riverside Freeway in Yorba Linda.
The CHP received reports of a deadly auto-pedestrian crash at around 12:10 a.m. on the westbound Interstate 91 just east of Gypsum Canyon Road.
Investigators said the man was trying to fix his disabled vehicle when he was hit by another car.
The victim, whose name was upheld pending notification of the next of kin, died at the scene.
The incident affected all westbound lanes of the freeway.
An investigation is ongoing.
