Colton, CA – The Colton Police Department is investigating a fatal pedestrian accident on South La Cadena Drive in Colton Saturday morning.
The accident happened at about 8:24 a.m. on July 12, 2025, at the intersection of S. La Cadena Drive and O Street.
Colton police said a 53-year-old man was attempting to cross the street in the 400 block of S. La Cadena Drive when he was struck by a 2021 Toyota Camry.
The Colton man was transported to a local hospital, where he later died. His name has been withheld pending next of kin notification.
The driver was not injured.
The crash remains under investigation.
