Bakersfield, CA – A man was critically injured Sunday night in a motorcycle accident in Bakersfield, according to the police.
The accident happened around 10:32 p.m. on July 20 in the area of Union Avenue and 34th Street near Memorial Hospital.
Police said a gray Honda minivan was turning left from northbound to westbound when it was broadsided by a southbound motorcycle.
The motorcyclist, a man, was taken to a hospital in critical condition.
The minivan driver, a woman, remained at the scene and cooperated with in the investigators.
Impairment was not a factor in the accident.
The police are investigating the accident.
