Man Dies after San Jose Car Accident on Santa Teresa Boulevard and Allen Avenue
San Jose, California (August 25, 2022) – A man died after being involved in a traffic collision earlier this year in San Jose, according to the San Jose Police Department.
The incident happened just before 9:06 p.m. on May 9, in the area of Santa Teresa Boulevard and Allen Avenue.
According to police, a 2002 Lexus sedan was traveling west on Santa Teresa Boulevard when it was rear-ended by a 2005 Chevrolet truck.
The two motorists were taken to hospital for treatment following the incident and were expected to survive.
On Wednesday, August 24, San Jose police were notified that the driver of the Lexus had died of cardiac trauma sustained in the collision.
The identity of the deceased victim has not been released.
Police are investigating the incident.
