Clovis, CA. – A man was placed in the intensive care unit after a pedestrian accident that happened Saturday night near an intersection in Clovis.
According to the Clovis Police Department, the incident took place around 10:40 p.m. near Villa Avenue and 9th Street.
An unknown car hit the man under unclear circumstances.
First responders found the pedestrian down with critical injuries. The man was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was placed in ICU.
The driver stopped and remained at the scene.
Police do not believe drugs or alcohol contributed to the accident.
An investigation is ongoing.
