A man was walking in the eastbound lanes of the PCH outside of a crosswalk when he was struck by an eastbound vehicle

Long Beach, CA.- A pedestrian was struck and injured by a vehicle in Long Beach on Friday night, according to the Long Beach Police Department.
The incident took place in the 1000 block of Pacific Coast Highway near Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue at about 10:30 p.m. July 18.
A man was walking in the eastbound lanes of the PCH outside of a crosswalk when he was struck by an eastbound vehicle.
The victim was rushed to a hospital and was said to be in stable condition.
The driver remained at the scene and was not suspected of DUI.
The accident remains under investigation.
