Man Injured in Bakersfield Train Accident near Baker and Sumner Streets
Bakersfield, California (September 17, 2021) – A man was struck and seriously injured by a train in east Bakersfield on Wednesday night, according to the authorities.
The incident was reported near the intersection of Baker and Sumner Streets on Wednesday, September 15.
Police said a man was wearing earphones when he tried to cross the tracks southbound and was hit by the train.
