Selah, WA – A motorcycle rider was injured in a collision that took place in Selah on Tuesday night, according to a report by the Washington State Patrol.
The accident happened at about 8:30 p.m. May 28, on State Route 823 at milepost 3.
The WSP said a 24-year-old Selah man was riding a motorcycle at a high rate of speed northbound on SR 823 when he crashed into a southbound Ford F-150 that was making a left turn.
The motorcyclist was injured in the accident.
No other injuries were reported.
Authorities said the motorcyclist is facing charges of DUI, driving without insurance, and driving with a suspended license.
The accident is under investigation.
