Rolando, CA – A 26-year-old man was hit and Injured by a vehicle in Rolando early Sunday morning, according to the San Diego Police Department.
The accident took place in the 7000 block of El Cajon Boulevard near 70th Street, at about 4:30 a.m. May 12.
San Diego police said the man was trying to cross the roadway when he was hit by a 2021 Nissan Altima driven by a 20-year-old woman.
The victim was rushed to a hospital with a fractured pelvis.
The driver remained at the scene after the collision.
Alcohol and drugs were not suspected to have played a role in the incident.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
